I have a picture in my library called Bitmap 1. Throughout my movie
there are actions take place with Bitmap 1 as the Fill.

I also have Bitmap 2 in my Library. How can I swap the Fill for all
the objects from Bitmap 1 to Bitmap 2 without having to manually go
    and change every single object.

I figured that if I deleted Bitmap 1, and change the name of Bitmap 2
to Bitmap 1, it would work. I was wrong.

    Any suggestions?

Overwrit Bitmap1 with Bitmap2 in what ever directory (on you HD) it was imported from. Then right click the bitmap1 icon in the library and choose update. Then hit the check box and then update.

The file must have the same name and location as it was imported as.

I guess I have done something wrong. Can you explain?

    Hi

Thanks for the reply. You said to Overwrite Bitmap1 with Bitmap2.

I think what you required me to do was delete Bitmap 1, and change the name of Bitmap 2 to Bitmap 1.

I did this, then righted click the Bitmap 1 icon in the library and chose update, then hit the check box and then update. The check box turns into a question mark.

All the files are in the same location in the library. I guess I have done something wrong. Can you explain?

No, I don't mean it's location within the library.

The directory where is is on your hard drice, Like
    c:/My_Flash/Images/Bitmap1.bmp

Overwrite the file in whatever folder it's on you sytem. Then try it again.
