    Hey all,

I just completed a flash animation that's 48KB, yet it takes almost a minute to load on a T1 connection. The streaming is also jacked up. Have any ideas as to why it's doing that? Any suggestions on how I can fix it? Most appreciated!

    Exclamation

You say the .swf is 48K?
    Your on a T1

Did you make a preloader for it?
I suggest that you test it
    and choose Show Streaming
to simulate how long it will take over a T1
Then test it out for real on the web.
    Compare the results.

You have the sound set to stream.
Set it to Start and see if that helps.
But the sound won't start till the whole .swf has been downloaded onto your machine
    You'll have to experiment.

Get back with me and tell me what the results are

I looked at the streaming info like you said and saw a few frames that were kinda big. But I had a few friends look at it from their locations and said it came up pretty quick. So I don't know if it was my connection at my job or what. I have a cable modem here at home and it comes up fast. You can give it a look-see at http://www.whoznext.com and let me know what you think. Thanks for the suggestions.
