I've downloaded this free pixel font but after following all the instructions it still doesn't work.

The font is called "Bit Light 10" , i got it from here:

    http://www.dafont.com/en/bitmap.php?page=3

Its about halfway down the above page.

I've set the size at 10, placed the text box at x=200, y=200 , no 202.7 values or anything like that, published my movie at "Match Movie" but the font still looks like crap!

The text looks lovely and sharp on the stage but not published.

Could someone possibly have a go with this font and see if it does work?

This font seems to behave like a reasonable pixel font for me. Did you place the center of the text, or the upper left, on integral ccordinates (it needs to be the upper left). If there is more than one line of text did you make sure it was left justified?

    Cheers,

    Flick

    Hi Flick, cheers for replying.

yeah i got it left justified and the x=200 , y=200 is from the top left of the text box.

I've uploaded it here's what it looks like:

I can put up an .FLA if you like!?

Most of it looks fine, its just "a"s and "o"s that are filled in.

I've used other pixel fonts and they look fine, but this one doesn't..very annoying.

That font was not created for Flash, you need to get fonts that are optimized for Flash, otherwise, just make a GIF image of that font before using it.
