I apologize, is I imagine this has been posted in the past. I have searched the previous posts, yet found nothing.

I have bought the Swift 3D 2.0 package and am hoping there is a tutorial or something to make vector 3D wireframe logos in Flash. I have not been able to find anything an am hoping you guys might have a link or two.

    Thanks in advance!
    Chris

You will be pleased to know this is a simple task. Just go to the Preview and Export Editor and under the Fill Options, uncheck "Fill Object". Then under the Edge Options, check "Include Edges". You can choose to include hidden lines, the entire mesh, or both.

Sorry, can't see the post title when replying so I forgot about the spinning part. If you are using the default interface layout, do you see all the spheres that represent your Materials down in the lower right corner? Just to the left of those is an button with the erain logo on it. Hit this to access the preset animations. Just drag/drop your chosen animation from the Animations Gallery onto your logo.

As for tutorials, check out the link below. If you have any other questions, this forum or preferably the Swift3D forum for Swift3D-specific questions is probably the best place to find an answer.

    http://www.erain.com/tutorials.asp

I should mention that all of the tutorials assume a basic understanding of the program, so it is highly recommended that all users read the friendly and informative Swift3D User Guide(a.k.a.Nick) thoroughly in order to get the most out of both the tutorials and the program itself.

Hey thanks! I think I have got it.
One last question.. (The tough one, of course)
    *or maybe its pretty simple

    Take a look at this:
(its about 300Kb w/ no preloader - sorry)

How would I change the background, to say a BMP image or something.. or rather make the background transparent so I could put it on top of another layer in an .FLA?

    Thanks so much!
    I appreciate your help!

Its a raw swf, so if you resize your window, you wont draw up so much RAM..

Hay have you tried importing the animation in flash... Usually when you import into flash the background is transperent. So you can follow these steps..

    1. open a movie..
    2. Create a new symbol (Mostly a movie)
    3. Imort your anim
    4. place the symbol on to the stage in a layer.
<note>since its a symbol it can be reduced in hight width scewed, looped etc...
    5. place a image..

and you have whatever u want.. correct me if i am wrong..
