Where to host personal portfolio site for free?

Hey everyone,

I've been hosting my portfolio site on Mac.com for a year and a half. Up till now it's been such a great service. Unfortunatly, they have sent me a email that as of sept it will no longer be free. I need to find a place that is free or really really cheep and that does not have tacky banner ads. I want to be in complete control of all the codeing. Thanks a lot!

You can post individual files up at http://www.templatekit.com with a link back to your email or website. This probably doesn't help with your portfolio as a whole, but it does create an individual page for you you can use to email.

Hmm..maybe I should write a new form allowing a table to be uploaded...actually we have that in the article section..so maybe I'll just adapt it into a designer directory section....
