Chelle great pics.........can you send me some of that snow?!!!! or i'd even take some rain. I live in Sydney, so you might have heard about the bushfires there over the last couple of days....took a couple of quick pics, not many cause would feel like a bit of a b@astard taking them in that situation, plus had more to worry about with the fires getting close to my place and getting out of there. Ended up evacuating, fires got to within about 30 metres of my place.

Will put up the pics soon. Not that good but all i got.

Here's the fire pics..........plenty of good opportunities just took crappy pics due to the situation.

This was on Wednesday night at about 9.30pm, from my street, it's a few valleys away at this stage

Late Thursday arvo, about 7pm, fire coming over ridge only a couple of valleys and a creek to go. The photo is blurred as the winds were so strong they were almost knocking me over, so you can imagine how fast the fire was getting driven.

Out my back door at about 1am Friday morning, thats just the glow of the fire thru the smoke, the fire by this time is in the valley below my house.

I bailed outa there at 1.20am with my daughter and the dogs and all the photos i could find.

Went to my sister in laws flat in Coogee (pic of Coogee below, similar to and south of Bondi which you have probably heard of)

So that was my exciting (NOT!) few days.

Wow....that's unreal. Can't imagine the fear of waiting to see if all your belongings will be taken from you. Good to hear you made it out alright. That 3rd photo is creepy.
