thanks, I took it at sunset with a canon D1 that I borrowed from a generous friend, it's a great camera, so nice to use something that has a decent lens again!
I had a bunch of filters I wanted to play with, this one has a gradient ochre filter with a vignette, I really like that.
The other one of the same pier is of the other section, further out, I'll repost it here.
this one has been thru photoshop, if you compare the pics you'll see I got rid of a piece of broken platform on the right to make the structure look like it's more isolated, almost like a ship wreck.
here's a snapshot I took the other day, the structure in the above pic was on fire and is now nothing more than a metal skeleton. When the day is right I'm going to down there and try to reproduce the sunset pic above to show before the fire and after.
