nice pics in this thread. My apologies for not coming back to post my pics for so long -- been busy with work, etc.

Here are a few pics -- nothing dramtic:
Recently scanned and was taken a few years ago at a safari park. Used Nikon TW100 (before the days of digicams!)

Taken on a plane on way to London for a weekend. Used Nikon CoolPix 775.

Early in the morning and waiting in vain for the train to appear to take me to work.

Heavy fog on another day -- also waiting for the bugger train.

I hope by summer, I will have "Four season" themed picture -- watch this space.

My apologies if the above pictures are rather undramtic but I am a bit bored. As soon as I get more free time, I will upload better pics... hopefully sometime this week

edit: if you want a larger resolution on my pics, just say so.

nice pics -- especially the snow ones. Although I found the dogs' fight section a bit disturbing, I thought *** is a very powerful image showing the dog's face -- like after a boxing match.

Yeah, it's so you can take really clear shots of objects upclose.

    in a way yes.
not to be confused with the Macro zoom lenses - those don't allow significantly greater magnification than a 50mm normal lens and they deliver low quality.
