    How do you link to a pdf in flash? To get the user's computer to launch acrobat and open the pdf?

    Upload the .pdf to your server, and link the button in your movie the .pdf.

    But I can't figure out what to use in the basic actions box. I know you use "On release...get SOMETHING..." but is it get url and then you type in your pdf name.pdf?

    that's my problem...

    You wat it to use Get URL, and in the URL box you type in the URL to the .pdf (www.yoursite.com/yourdoc.pdf)

    when the host uploads the page (which is really flash...published as html), the link on that page goes to the home page of the website, but does not get the pdf on the server.

    for example...www.yoursite.com/your.pdf. When you click on the link, it just goes to http://www.yoursite.com.

    What am I doing wrong?
