Eyes - Flash Cartoon

Hello
I am trying to create a cartoon of this girl (See link below for an image of her) and I can't seem to figure out how to draw her eyes so that they're big enough to make animations yet still represent who she realy is.

I was wondering if you could help/guide me on how I can create her eyes. I am creating the cartoon/animation with Flash so if you have any sketches or if you want to send me an image of how you would do it that would be appreciated.
