I made like 3 movies and i would always save each movie on a cdr but i would leave the cd open so i could still use it. anyway, now when i try to open the fla i get a, an unknown error as occured while accesing my file, message. what should i do?!?! i really need these .flas cuz its for a web site im doing for somebody. thanks for ur help.

Try ejecting the cdr and do a restart. I'd save a copy to the c drive as backup.

that dosent work. I copied the fla to my computer so that it is read off the computer insted of the cdr and it still gives me the same message. man this really sucks.

What OS do you use? I had a similar prob and I'm on pc/windows 98.
It sounds like a corrupt file and there's a prog within Win that you can actually run and scan to see of there are any probs as such

yep my OS is Win 98. But my other computer has Win ME and it still gave it the problem, but whats the thing ur talking about? thanks
