Thread: only get sound and no video with WMP and .asf

    i'm using Windows media player 8 and am trying to watch an asf tutorial video. for some reason the ad the ad that comes before the actual tutorial plays but then when the tutorial starts i only get sound and no video. (supposed to have both) ? i amusing a slow 56k but this cannot be why becuase it should still come up (just a little crapified, that's all)


    anyone else had this prob?

    First of all you have Widows Media Player 8, which means you have Windows XP, so well done for that!

    If you have a slow modem then you might not get a picture. Sound always has rights over video for some reason, so this might just be it.

    err... this is Flash general help. Could you move it to the PC section? Oh thats right there isn't one! So people with a Mac get a Mac forum, and PC people suffer!
