none of my flash is running intense scripts or have large files...

i just don't kno what's goin on...

well your background scoots down 1, stops, then does it again all repeating alot real fast and all.... to make it easier, can't you just have an animated gif as your background? might make the file size bigger but no more hourglass

yep the main problem lies with the moving background...

have a static background then the cursor will stop flashing...
