    Ummm

    Things are getting complicated lol

I have my main movie going ..AND I actually managed to get a pre-loader working ...

and it's all ok as long as you have adsl or cable connection - otherwise it is REALLY messy.

The main .swf uploads onto the web .. but the secondary swf have not yet loaded .. and so it is all out of synch .. if you wait a while and refresh you get it ... but argh it is horrible .....

so .. is it possible to block the preload of the main movie until it has preloaded its secondary swf's ??

I should imagine it's recoding the actions AGAIN .. can any one get me started please ..

Is this often a problem if you add swf to a main movie ???

    tyyyy all

A lot of things you're not saying here, and a lot of confusion.
You should post a link to your files, so we can see for ourselves, and better, post a link to your .flas, so we can download them and check them out!

Too right - I am getting messy ...

    This is the main fla

    http://digilander.libero.it\csintern...alCSBISpre.fla

These two get uploaded ... but don't quick enough on a normal modem connection .. and the main movie starts without the typers of red fotos ... which come in half way through . SO my aim was to preload the two small.swf files before uploading the main movie .. if that is feasible

    http://digilander.libero.it\csintern...sAnimation.fla

    http://digilander.libero.it\csintern...l1\TyperCS.fla

    The final link is

    http://digilander.libero.it\csinternational1\index.htm

which I know works for us on cable and adsl .. but for no-one else

ty and sorry for the confusion

Yes, this is in fact quite messy!

Can't look further into this this afternoon, will only be able to in the evening, if and when you post a missing .fla, which is typer1.fla, or at least a link to typer1.swf.

You're so right .. sorry about this

It was a very first approach to flash and I did all the tutorials as I went along .. so it got all kind of mixed up ..

It is probably better if I just start again from scratch lol

Can I just have you opinion on using these flashtyper files .. do they slow things down too much in general ??.. should I just make some more simple things myself in flash ??

there is no typer .fla file ... i downloaded directly from flashtyper

    http://digilander.libero.it/csinternational1/typer1.swf

    (all typer files are uploaded)

    No rush anyway lol ...

    you've been too kind already
