OK I've created a flash web site and realized that the service provider hosting our web site does not have the server configured to read swf. Now it works when I have IE but when it comes to netscape, it doesn't and it crashes my whole computer (unless it's a flash problem?). I read the source info which proved that the server did not recognize it because it thinks that the file mime type is text/html. I informed the host about this and he just kept telling me that it works on his end therefore they don't need to configure the server. Please check and see this and see if the server needs to be configured. Http://www.vegasartlights.com

If the server needs to be configured where can I direct him so that he can believe me?

    Thanks for everyone's reply

    Thumbs up

I had a look at this site before when you were asking about the scrolling text. It was okay back then and is okay now. I can view it all without any probs in NS on WinNT.

netscape itself is very unstable. theres nothing wrong on your end. when i first went to your site in ns, it seemed ok. after i clicked on the links, it decided to crash. i went out and dl shockwave 8, then started playing around with your buttons. no crashes now. maybe you should warn netscape users that they need the most recent player version and see what happens.

everything ive ever heard about netscape says that with each progressive version has made it more and more unstable. and i believe it. i used netscape for close to a year. my own webpage will cause ns to crash if you keep clicking the back button (this page breaks out of frames, so youll be in a continuous loop unless you rightclick and back out 2 pages).
