Thread: Flash file imported into another (newb question)

    I have a newb question. I just imported a movie into my flash file, but how do I get the imported flash file to maintain its own background color, cuz it keeps goin to white (the current bg color of the main flash file).

    Just open the FLA again, edit, and export. If you lost the FLA, you are out of luck for the most part.

    i dont follow (prolly cuz its 5:51). I have a .swf with a red bg and im importing it into my main .fla w/ a whte bg, and the red bg disappears. What am I supposed to edit?

    The red background will always disappear. The red background is not something that gets imported because it is not a movieclip, button, or like.

    k. thanks alot. I have another newb question. How do I shrink the imported movie while keeping everything inside the movie to scale (buttons on the right keep disappearing when i try this).

    Wait... Try turning Snap To Objects on then resizing. I think will do it.
