Quicktime movie not playing!!??

I have a quicktime movie inside a flash page. It displays the first frame, but nothing else.....I have around 480 frames alotted to it, more than the length of the movie, so why is it not playing?

quick time does not play in the .swf format.

but what it does allow you to do is export the .fla as a quick time .mov.

what this does is place the .swf material on a layer above the .mov allowing the .swf to control the .mov.

however this file can only be played through the qt player.

Thanks for the info. In addition to your suggestion of having flash ontop a quicktime movie, I realized the only way to use a quicktime movie on the web and inside a flash site is to recompile it as a series of images.
