Thread: basic dreamweaver problem

  1. #1
Don't want to turn this forum into a Dreamweaver one but heres a simple basic problem!

Getting colours in photoshop to match colours in Dreamweaver...I am using a web palette in PS...could anyone give me a step by step guide how to match the colours?

    Thanks in advance

You can use HEX colors in both:

    Bit confused here...so I went to http://www.pagetutor.com/pagetutor/makapage/picker/

I picked a dark blue and got the code BGCOLOR="#330099", I can easily put this into dreamweaver and it will find the colour I am after. But Photoshop is a totally different, it doesn't do HEX colours it only understands colours through the likes of RGB, CYMK, LAB etc...like R: 251 G : 20 B : 22...from what I know theres no part of PS that would understand a code like "#330099"

I wish both dreamweaver and photoshop dealt with colours in the same way!!

or....have I totally gone off track?
