    Hi,

    Im trying to create a image picker with a button.

    The images are in the same folder as the flash is. The images are changed by a button and theres 3 images.

    picture0.jpg
    picture1.jpg
    picture2.jpg

    The .fla if someone could look at it is at:

    http://www.dashdotmedia.com/flash/head.fla

    The button has a actionscript on it that is this:

    on (release){
    loadMovieNum("picture"+Math.round(Math.random(1))+ ".jpg",0);
    }

    If you want to see the grey screen go to:

    http://www.dashdotmedia.com/home.html
    It is the grey block on the right.

    Thanks!

    you don't want to load .jpg into level 0. that's problem no.1

    You also had the publish settings set to Flash 5, which doesn't support jpg loading.

    create an empty MC, and load your jpg into it. NOT into level 0.

    Right I changed the level to 1.
    Thats worked somewhat, but now only the text is showing. Should i change the level to 2?

    MC = movie clip.

    create an empty MC, and give it an instance name. use it as the target for your image loading.

    that way you can easily change the position of the loaded image, and the level of the image on the stage (the stacking order, kinda). You can then put your text on a layer above the layer with the empty image-loader MC.

    Code:
    loadMovie("picture"+Math.round(Math.random(3)+1)+".jpg", _level0.loaderMC);
    i hope this helps
