multiple movie clip positioning

i want to place movie clips into the root, using the same movie clip in different places. i'm having trouble with it loading in the upper left-hand corner; if i edit the position within the clip itself, obviously it works, but then all the other times i'd like to attach that movie it attaches to the same place. i don't think that the answer can be complicated; what code do i need to place within the invisible button to attach the clip to the right spot?

ok; took care of the last question; thanks. but now, my buttons won't continue the play of my mc's when another button is moused-over. how can i change this scenario?
