Buttons activated while on a higher layer

I have several layers, on the lowest layer i have several buttons on one of the higher layers there is an image which partially covers the button on the lower layer. The problem is that when the mouse rolls over the image that covers the button the hand cursor appears! Does anyone know how to stop the hand appearing. Cheers all

not any good way
u cant change the button to a clip and then add the actiond of button as an function to the movie clip
it may again show the hand cursor!!!
or you may make a new cursor for you self
mouse.hide()
startdrag(the cursor you have made)

eventually ive just found out how to overcome this problem/.
All i did was to place a blank DYNAMIC TEXT area underneath the object that sat above the offending button.
