Very easy question, but I must be doing something wrong. I have a textbox which I set to dynamic, and I would like it to display the value of a variable (_global.score). How is this done?

Have you added _global.score (or maybe just score) in the Var box in the textfield's properties?

    hi.

In the property inspector of your text box ,
write the name of your variable in the box
    labeled 'var'

Just to followup what was previously said you need to first set your text box to dynamic text, then in the property inspector go to VAR and assign your text box a variable name to reference. So if you set the VAR to be named TEXT1 then in your actionscript you can assign this a value with TEXT1 = "THIS IS SOME TEXT"
