    5. Making business cards and visiting the small businesses in your area.

    6. Promoting yourself through friends and family. A family member can be your best agent.

    11. Finding stupid websites on the web and sending e-mails suggesting your service to the webmasters of those sites.

    12. Trying to avoid contacts with the webmasters of the above mentioned stupid sites, and attempting to contact the real owners of the site (for the webmaster is interested not in the success of the site but in his own success...).

    14. sending your portfolio to a potential client on a CD.
    15. even if the client has a good website call them. (you never know, they might be hunting for another web service provider)
    16. marketing calls should be handled by ladies. 100% one will get an appointment if not business.
