I've tried to install Squeeze and when the interface comes up there are now format buttons. It imports video just fine but I can output anything because of lack of compression buttons. I've tried .avi and .mov. Has this happened to anyone else?

So you've installed Squeeze Pro with Spark MX? What platform?

The Mac version has a sparse contol face - but command clicking on the B/W buttons will open the options menus.

Correct i don't see the format buttons

It's Squeeze 2.0 for MX demo. The interface has no buttons and I can select a output format without them.

    been there

Already have, just wondered if anyone encounter the problem. It's very strange, the program installs great and opens up video fine, just not buttons. Very weird. It looks like a solution I want to try, but if the demo isn't working that's not a good sign.

Don't be discourage, Sqeeze is awesome. If you can afford it, just get it. You won't be disapointed.

    looks great but...

It looks great but you wouldn't buy a car if it didn't run right If I can't get the demo to work, I'm not going to pay money for something not to work as well.

    any reason why

Can you think of any reason why it wouldn't work? I mean interface buttons just not showing up is quite unusual espcially since all of you have had such great results.

It would help if we knew what system you are running, but all I can say is demo's are demo's - there's always a shortcoming.

If you're on a Mac - the interface is going to look much different than the PC version - as I said before.

If this is the tool you need, get it. You won't be sorry.

    on a PC

I'm on a PC and the lack of buttons isn't a limitation, it makes the program completely unfunctional. Hopefully I'll here from their tech support. The demo is supposed to be actually like the purchased version, other than it runs out in 30 days.
