YES this was my first thought but was correctly set, cos I have been able to watch quicktime movies on my machine via quicktime with audio playing.

Is Flash MX senative against codecs, do you have to use certain codecs to be able to import both vid with audio?

If the codec used to originally compress the video isn't installed on your pc you could have a problem with the sound.
