Has anyone ever considered simulating the Windows 2000 Server environment on a Mac so that it'll run asp scripts?

It'd be mighty useful to have a tool of this sort running on my G4 powerbook (OS 9.1) to use when not connected to our LAN for dev & testing on the beach, presentations etc.

Any third party products? Needless to say I can't find any relevant downloads at http://www.microsoft.com/mac/download.

PS. v. concerned to see a link for IE4.5 Mac Edition without the oblig govt health warning.

the absolute closest I have found has been Apache 2.0 that could run ASP.NET, part of the .NET framework... more information about that here.

ChiliSoft! ASP could integrate into the already established Apache server in MacOS X, but I've not found a way to install it at all... no Mac binaries!

So, for now, I keep a Remote Desktop Client connection to my Win2K server, and an active connection to a ASP Projects share, and test that way...
