I made a design in photoshop and on the graphic I made a sort of TV scan line effect using the DitherBox. When I import this (tried PNG and JPEG) , Flash renders some strange lines in my graphic that I cannot get rid of.

I have tried everything I can think of including setting the properties of the image in the library to not allow smoothing, compress as JPEG, PNG, no compression, and in export seeting using 100% quality and nothing works.

i have had this issue before and i was wondering if any of you have seen this and know of a solution.

here is a sample of what I mean:

Try saving the file as a PNG 24 bit, looks like the image is 16 bit.

First of all, thank you (collectively) for your time and replies...

I have tried saving as PNG 24 with same results.

Also, the graphic and the stage of my movie are the same dimensions. Flash export settings are set to same size in pixels; not to a percentage so no scaling.

I did not understand the last comment about different heights? can you explain....

In the header graphic, you can see one of these flash rendered *lines* i am referring to running vertically therough the letter *n* in the word *kontakt*

Any body else have some inputs, this one seems to be an elusive peoblem although I am quite confident that others must experience the same thing.

Tommorow I will re-export the graphic as PNG 24 to double check my work and then I will post my results back here.

    Thanks...regards all.
    John
