Thread: import into MX. looking for compression settings examples

  1. #1
starting to work with video and instead of so much trial and error... are there any examples of settings for importing video.

right now working with a 200mb source and have gotten it down to 8mb but not to happy with the blocking.

is there a good tutorial that shows examples comparible maybe to other web video standards such as 56k, 128k, 300k real video or windows media or qt.

i know there is sorenson squeeze. just not down for spending the extra $100+ when flash has already put something in there that works

Well there's not too much experimenting to do with Spark, the blocked output you are getting can only be imporoved upon by getting more contol of the settings. That's where Sorenson MX, Flix, or maybe Swideo come into the picture.

You're going to need sofware that offers 2 pass variable bitrate (VBR) encoding to improve on the stock capabilities of Flash MX's Spark.

They all have trial versions, check'm out.
