How I can I rotate a dynamic or input textbox? Whenever I try to do it, the textfield doesn't show up.
Am I missing something incredibly obvious?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Yes! That you have to embed the font used in the textfield for it to work!
-
Dave,
by embedding the fonts the size of the .swf file increases drastically. . . .
-
And your point is?
The question is... Do we want to rotate the textfield or not?
-
my point is.....
if the file (.swf file) size is an issue ....
-
Your point is pointless if the issue is to rotate the text and embedding the font is the only way to achieve that!
But then maybe it's just MM's fault and you should sue them!

Dear oldnewbie,
whenever anyone provides a solution, one should remember to state its plus and minus points of that given solution.
This helps to develop better applications.
Is the forum to be used only to provide solutions to given problems and not our experience what we had with those given solutions....???

Ok! You win!
Will be looking to read all about your experiences!
On that, I'll leave you, to have a good night's sleep! Am I looking forward to that experience!
Maybe in the morning, I'll entertain you with my breakfast experience!

Tea only! Wasn't much of an experience after all!
Maybe lunch?

Thank you guys, embedding the fonts fixed the problem (of course). I appreciate your help!
