i want a map like they have on games like mario or zelda.


i want :

about 3 towns / citys,
a castle,
a factory of some kind,
a river.

I want to have a couple of thousand dollars. Specifically, I need:

Oh yeah, I need this as soon as possible. Because, well, I like money.

Now, being a member of these boards, and a developer yourself, I'm sure you'll realize that people don't like to do work for free, especially work that they could get paid good money for. IF you wanted your post to be more successful, you would explain your project in more detail and offer some sort of compensation.

Keep in mind here, compensation does not have to be financial (though money is nice). But you have to offer something - if you want people to get excited about your project, at least post the game engine for people to take a look at, and if it's quality work, you'll have no problem finding a collaborator. But if you want someone to spend lots of time and hard work creating graphics for the "next killer game" that will never see the light of day, I think you've come to the wrong place.

i dunno if this guy is from the US or UK or Autralia....

anyway, i wanted to say that sometimes, when people ask for a favor, like this guy here, it sounds very unpolite. Usually that happens when english is not your first language, and you do your best to express only what you want to say, not looking at how you are sayin it. I mean, sometimes this questions from some people in the board sound so rude, cause basically they don't know too much encglish...right?
