No, I don't agree with that, about not understanding, then it's useless. I listen to some Brazilian tunes and although my Portuguese is weak and I don't understand all the words, I still like it.

Of course, if the words are what hold the meaning of luuuuuuuv, well I guess I could be wrong, but a tune should be romantic as well as the words.
