Preload Swish Movie?

Is there a way to preload a swish movie before it begins to play?

I thought I had read this on the boards before, but I am unable to locate it now.

Where exactly are you trying to play this movie? Are you importing this swish animation into flash? If so, then just do a normal preloader in flash. Once in flash the swish (convert in swish to swf) is nothing more than symbols on a layer.

Some files I am taking into Flash, others I have no further need to.

I understand you can do a pre-loader in Flash, but for the items I don't need to take into Flash, I would like to save a step and do it entirely in Swish if possible.
