Thread: trouble publishing video to quicktime

    I have imported a quicktime vdo and embedded it into flash so that as it plays animated text while vdo plays. When i try to publish as quicktime mov. a message comes up saying that the version of quicktime i have doesn't support this functionality or somesuch....what am i doing wrong? I dont want to link to an external file, as this adds too much to the size of the project.

    Got it

    liquid_len, I was having the same problem and came here looking for help and then I figured it out. In your Publish Settings go to Flash and then choose Flash Player 5 from the Verdsion: Drop Down Menu. That's it. Good luck!

    QT 5 supports Flash 4, QT6 supports Flash 5. There is currently no support in QT for Flash 6.
