    i'm making a small movie
i created it in flash 12fps a few jpegs a few small tweens
    stage size 800x600.
i've been asked to export it as avi ,but ,im getting very large file sizes (more then 20MB) i've tryed most of the compressors bur nothing works.
when exporting as .mov(quick time)the result is great ,small
    file size and high quality.

does anyone know how to get good resultes with avi

    Hi.
AVI and MOV are terms that describe two generic web media formats. Each of them has many codecs available to encode (and decode) the file.
If you are getting much smaller sizes with MOV than AVI, it probably means that you are using a better MOV codec than for the AVI.
Phreakdevil is correct that divx codecs provide excellent compression. The downside is that if you want to distribute that AVI, the end user will also have to have the divx codec installed. There are other codecs that are far more common that can also provide good compression. It all depends on what you are trying to do and what you will do with the AVI or MOV once you encode it.
