I would like to know whether we can insert video(.avi and .mov) files in any of our flash presentation. What other video formats we can use in flash presentation.

If you are using Flash MX, you can either link to an external MOV or you can bring in almost any video format and convert it to Flash in the MX authoring environment.
It really depends on what you want to do.
If you are using Flash 5 or earlier, you need a software that will encode Flash 5 or earlier video, as the Flash authoring tool will not support this.
