I am talking about the design and graphics and stuff, not really the menu... Its amazing.

The old Version 5 is pretty original i think, if you are talking about the "gallery" then it is not their original flash, they even say so... its just examples.

Anyone know how does that menu on the left side works, sort of like windows exporer folders.

man the splash is hard to work at first but that graphic has to be the best 3d graphic i have ever seen.
the actual website is a little dissapointed after the splash

I would have to agree that while the splash screen looks really cool, it has some usability issues. It took me about 30 seconds to figure out that I was supposed to click on the box. Also, if you click on the box while you are at the far left edge of the window, the entry link for the site is off the screen and inaccessible. Oops.

Good design == form + function

conclusion: change the pesky smurf nav...
    that's all too it.

splash looks cool with the octopus tentacles and all.
the 3 pxl lookalike typography texture isn't that
    cool anymore....

I like the cool splash page graphic. Really sets me up thinking there is going to be a lot of cool visuals.

Not too crazy about the box nav thing, but the coolness of the image almost makes up for it..

After that initial page I felt let down on the content pages, didnt seem as interesting...

    peace!

With the ability to do such a nice splash screen it was just lazy to use a windows media player skin ( WinXP ) as a preloader graphic

I don't know what the big deal at all is about this site is. The box took for ever to open, also if you open it near the edge of the borders you loose options. The 3D graphic is okay for about a second and in no way makes up for the lack of an interesting website when you get in. Bad font, bad graphics, bad design.

Sorry, but I have no idea why anyone thinks this is worthy of a "Holy Jeebus!"

Same as everyone else, the cube wouldn't let me click it till I reloaded the page, even once it was open it was confusing.

As for the main part of the site, it all looks cool but it has messy confusing nav. it seems to be all over the place.
They need a simpler nav. and it'd make a big difference.

The windows media player ? mm...well they appearantly made a screenshot of it, then wiped the main window... you see the image is not even optimised. Not impressive..not at all

Looks very nice, but I couldn't find the navigation anywhere on the site which slightly annoyed me as I don't know what sort of content the site holds, or what the purpose of the site is.

    Copy and Paste.

Exactly, a real good job of revamping objects in Photoshop (Media Player Skin & etc) and slapping Flash FLAs together.

What is the purpose of their site if you can't even enter it?

...that sound loop is pretty sweet though. I tried to make a couple like that but none came out this good. I wish he had kept that mood going throughout the site. Instead it went all corporate and boring.
