Okay this graphic how the heck do you make those curved tabs, I'm assuming i have to use the pen tool but man that thing is a pain in the ass is there any easier way, and which software has the easiest pen tool to use...and if anyone knows of a tutorials then that would be great as well
any help would help

you can always do it in PS, using some selections, and apply a smooth selection to it.

Draw the shape in a vector form (Illustrator, perferably) and then use photoshop to apply bevels, shadows, and the like.

yea but how do you get those smooth looking curves like it goes from a straight line into a curve and then back to a straight line again. I can get the curve part but i cant get the "curve" to connect to the 'straight line" and still look smooth, and continuous
