I am trying to find a way to create a docking control panel similar to one used on http://www.aticco.com.

The problem is trying to create something like this using the flash projector.

I want to know if it´s possible, if so where I might find the script I need to launch a flash projector full-screen with a transparent background.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Hi, you can also do this with Flash Studio PRO, and it's completey FREE for personal use. Download a copy from http://www.multidmedia.com

Flash Studio can also connect to other projectors using real time sockets, load video, connect to a database and even use DirectX resolutions!

    Hope you find it useful

I´ve found when using programs like SwiffCANVAS and SWF studio, creating a transparent bacground for your projector leaves you with an invisible barrier between you and your desktop the size of your flash movie.

Thanks for the tip Gambini, I´ll give FlashStudio a try.

The transparent background effect in SWF Studio is just an effect, you can't actually interact with your desktop. However, there are a couple of products that CAN do that for you and you can find them at....

    mProjector http://www.binarynoise.com
    iceProjector http://www.flashants.com

If you just want to reshape your dockable projector window, you can do that in SWF Studio much easier with a clipping region which will let you keep the interaction with the desktop.

Check out the iSkills item in the gallery at http://www.northcode.com/studio/gallery and feel free to email if you need to see more examples or if you need any help getting this to work.
