    Hi all
    I created a very simple intro at : http://www.tomsmith.org and it does not fit in the screen on IE at 800 x 600. It fits fine in 1068 x 700. How do I adjust it? Do I have to do the whole thing all over again?

    hellllp

    Thanks

    Hey tombempty ,

    With your swish movie at 600x800 you are filling your entire browser space but not allowing for the browsers margins . For your movie to fit nicely into this resolution set your swish movie size for something like 760x490 .

    If you want to remove the margins , you will need to edit the boby code to
    <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" scroll="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0">

    regards

    It depends on whether some pixelation bothers you

    In SWiSH - you can open the Export Panel - and select "100%" - and then export the HTML or Copy to Clipboard

    That will make the SWF file adjust to any resolution (of course, images will be distorted a bit)

    ... or change the height and width to 100% in the HTML code manually ...

    or change the actual dimensions in the code. From 800 x 600 to 760 x 570

    so in this -
    <object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
    codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash4/cabs/swflash.cab#version=4,0,0,0"
    id="index" width="800" height="600">
    <param name="movie" value="index.swf">
    <param name="quality" value="high">
    <param name="bgcolor" value="#000000">
    <embed name="index" src="index.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#000000"
    width="800" height="600"
    type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
    change both mentions of width and height to 760 x 570
