    What screen resolution do you use and why?

    on this computer 1400x1050 because it's flat screen with 1400x1050 pixels. You can change the resolution but then the computer has to try and make even looking pixels out of an odd number available and it gets kinda blurry. I could go 700x525 just fine, then each pixel will be made up of 4 actual screen pixels

    on the other computer 1280 and on the other other computer 2048x768 because it's got two monitors.



    generally I like to use the highest comfortable resolution possible to maximise real estate, you can always test sites for resolutions by using appropriately sized windows. I like things small

    1280 x 1024.

    (19" LCD)

    As aversion said, it's the highest resolution I can still see and read things clearly with.

    1600x1200, 19"flatscreen crt
    1152x864, 15" standard crt

    Dual monitor..i use the 15" for testing sites, etc...

    2 19" 1400x1050 monitors side by side. Those came with Newtek's Toster Studio.

    What if i said i dont even have a monitor!?

    1280x1024...everything is so smooth and nice

    800x600 makes me want to cry :'(

    I want a bigger monitor with higher res, though, not that it'll really be possible... flatscreen would be nice! I'm on an 18" right now.

    Like everyone else, it's the highest res that I can see clearly. 1280x1024 is just a tad to small for this monitor.
