Was planning on buying something for my little sister when i forgot everything to realise I was unable to understand how the pink-mauve-white-girl animation on the left was done.

How do they get this done... i mean if they do something to an MPEG this would mean tracing 100 bitmaps... how do I get this done...

    Hello,

Well, I'm trying to think of a way other than what you already hit upon. I've alway seen it done by exporting the keyframes from the video, importing into Flash and tracing the bitmap.

Suffice to say, some people get paid to do repetitive tasks all day.

there's a program (name slipped my mind) that instantly converts bitmap movie into multiple vector keyframes. arrrgh...i wish i could remember the name. they use an eagle flying and a ram in their demo....whatever. anyways, the program exists, so you shouldn't have to trace-bitmap on hundreds of frames. ...unless that's your thing.

Hi my way of doing it would be to get the movie, export it from adobe premiere, to single frames, import it into photoshop using a 4 colour palate (for the pinks) then import it into adobe streamline and export it as eps's

(note u can batch in Phsp and in streamline)

    hope this helps
