I think in order for us to be a better team, we need to give honest opinions on pictures. I'll tell you what i like about it and what I don't like.

I do like the cube pattern. It works with a industrial type pic, but i don't think it works covering the whole pic.

The shapes on the top and bottom, the gray shapes with 45 degree angles, are in my opinion, lame and out of style.

The lightning is something that experienced photoshop users cringe at. I'm pretty sure you used render clouds filter to make em, and everytime somebody uses a filter, it crappifies their image a bit more.

Also, the twirl on the logos has no connection to the pic. Nothing else is rotating or melting away, so why is that?

It also lacks a focal point. When i look at it, My eyes wander from the cubes, to the logos, the main ungreyed part and the lightning. It's a bit of a busy picture.

If I was going to redo that pic, i'd kill of the = sign after round one, bring that gray font closer to the center, maybe kill off the SYSTEM.OVERLOAD!! and put the whors thing there. I'd also put a twist on the the gray parts with the rotate tool and give the picture an angle so it looks a bit better. The blocks aren't totally necessary, but i'd bring them closer to the center if i were to use them. I'd kill off the lightning too, and lower the opacity on the pattern in the background. The twisted logo also would have to go.

I really appreciate constructive critism, Ive only been using Flash / Photoshop since I registered here! Fact I only been designin since then too. I come here to learn, and its great when people give that kind of criticism

from what i've seen of redadobe's photoshop work, your are 5000 times better then him. Let me see if i can dig up his previous works. I can recall a serve he had vs. jamez brown that was a very terribly cropped iguana on a bunch of blue triangles.

You got some potential though mx, you just need some practice.

Actually, at my dad's office, there's a computer with it on it, v. 6.0, but the CD's were lost... Sooooo.... I'll just take out the 2 gig HD and transfer everything over to mine!
