ok. photoshop battle is basically where people take the preceding image, and use portions of it in your own image, but using it in a clever way and making it your own creation, basically.

keeping the same dimensions is paramount. so, if an image starts out at 400x600, then your volley will also remain 400x600. In some cases, you can rotate the volley.

but it's basically where you take an existing image, and build upon it, to create your image. best of all, you can be as creative as your imagination allows.

it's just a show of skill and talent using photoshop, illustrator, flash, paint shop pro, painter, etc... just be creative.



did you notice/pay attention to the last battle!? it was cool, and it had basically followed the typical proceedings for a photoshop battle. maybe you should sit this one out and do more research? or try to challenge somebody in tester photoshop battle perhaps?

Thanks man... I figured I ranked on grungy so bad, I had to try to go a little that way just to show it wasn't sour grapes cause I couldn't do it... still pretty clean for the grungeness though, just don't have the knack for it I guess... happy enough with it though to let it be seen early though.

not too long... maybe a year. My only saving grace is that I have been doing a ton of battles over at werehere... If you can't learn a thing or two from those guys, you just cant learn a thing.

nada... i wish... I just need a project to in it to challenge myself and then I could pick it up a bit quicker... Hard for me to focus on it without an imediate purpose... Just picked up a PHP book, so I am gonna be occupying myself with that for a while... says it'll teach you PHP in twenty four hours. I'm gonna put it to the test.
