    Hi

We're having real problems trying to get video to sync problery with the audio on one of our projects. I know what the problem is - its the fact that the imported videos FPS is different to the flash movies FPS.

Ive tried re-encoding the video with Premier - but it glitches the original right up (mpeg video source files) - stuttering etc, etc.
not what you'd expect from an adobe app - but there you go.

Ive also tried quicktime but can never get decent export settings (perhaps someone could suggest a good high quality setting appropriate for flashmx import?)

I tried tmpegc - but the FPS options are greyed out for my particular mpeg clips

Is there any mpeg reencoding software out there that will allow me to adjust the fps and re-encode it?

    help - please someone!!

    Cheers in advance

    Hi.
    Media Cleaner will do that.

It's expensive, but it should do the job.

Make sure the fps you end up at are a fraction of the .swf fps you are importing to or loading into.

Macromedia suggest 10, 15, or 30 fps. If your movie is 30 fps (my favorite) you can easily use any of these fractions.

BTW - I've had problems with mpeg no matter what, even with Cleaner 5.

If I rightly understand, you want to make a video file from your flash files... Try Flash to Video Encoder from geovid.com for that... In additin it has a trial version!
    Good luck!
