UK people w/ experience in putting up sites

i've got a serious problem and it really starting to F$$* me off. this is the first time i'm trying to put up a web site for a client, in fact its the first web site i'm putting up period. all in all its going well and they like what they see, but my deadline was two days ago, and i can't get this thing up!!!!!!
o.k so i've cut a few corners. and i've been trying to put the thing up on my BTinternet web space they've given me so i don't have to buy more.
but the guys on the helpline haven't got a clue.
i've been trying to load the .swf files onto their ftp server
for a couple of weeks with no luck. the stupid thing is the last guy told me i can't put .swf files on their space cuz what they offer is dead basic---but i've already managed to do it about three weeks ago.
they told me to download 'cuteftp' to help me upload my stuff, but THEIR ISN"T A MAC VERSION. if anyone out there has any experience in getting their swf files onto the BT- ftp server PLEASE help me out i'm running out of patience with those guys.
