    hi all,,

    I've searched this forum traying to find the answer..

    here is my question:
    -can i read external IMAGE (via web) and show it into flash movie?

    Yes , but only in Flash MX and only jpg images( actualy you can code it in F5 too but its only the F6 player that can load a jpg image).
    If you put the image in a separate swf file you could load that if you dont have Flash MX.

    If you have PHP with the Ming module installed on your webserver, you can dynamcially load JPG/GIF/PNG image into flash4/5. http://ming.sourceforge.net
