Photoshop 7. What I'm trying to do is create a website, I want a really cool interface, with multiple photos blended together across the top.

i didnt understood if you're talking about "blending images" or the "blending options" of a layer. you put each image in an individual layer, then use some ersing technique, like faded brush, a gradient selection, and delete that part. then if you want you can change transparency level, and the layer "blending options" like multiply, screen, difference etc.

best way to fade images together is using masks and gradients
as outlined before, put each photo in its own layer. arange them as you want and then overlay each photo by the distance you want the fade to occur
you only have to do the gradient mask once for each photo (ie: fade out/in the left side of each blending photo)
click the photo which is on top of the photo you want to blend into. click the 'add mask' button (bottom of the 'layers' bar). select the gradient fill tool. make sure it's a 50%white/50%black even fade, unless you want to go fancy. apply the gradient for the length of the fade. if you did it the wrong way and what was supposed to be visible is now transperent, just inverse it (ctrl + i).
do that for as many photos you have

Thanks guys! That's exactly what I wanted to know.
Another thing...
It seems pretty simple to create a footer;
I know what size to make it, BUT I'm not sure how to START???
What should I do first? Is it the same thing I would do as the
blending photos?? THANKS AGAIN

well basicly a footer can something that is used to communicate something about you, so that is it! what do you want to know more?
