Subscribe etc

Can we have the old subscribe system that means that it only sends you one e-mail when somebody updates it, and then doesn't send you any more until you visit the page? Rather than getting one every time somebody posts something.

It should only be sending you one email until you've visited the thread. I've not had multiple emails to the couple of topics I've subscribed to.
