    Question

Hi, just started using flash 4.0 I have prior HTML experience but this is my first with flash. I'm excited to be using it, but I'm having some troubles. I'm trying to incorporate some of the really cool objects that I've found at flashkit (namely the texttyper effect)but I don't know how to edit the movie and where to insert the code that comes with it. does it go in the HTML? or someplace within the movie. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

The code all goes in the movie, The only thing that would be outside is if you decided to have the text in a plain text file so you could edit the text without having to change the swf. If you need specific help please call on me. Regards, Bill

In the beginning the web was without shape and color, and the hype covered the darkness of the net. Then there was a Flash and life came to the web and vision became reality.

Thanks. I figured out where to put the code within a frame but I'm having trouble calling on the object to work within a movie. I'm using the animtyper found on this website and I put the code in a frame in the movie with the symbol and it still doesn't work. It's probably too tough to help me cuz my problem is a little ambigious but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also can anyone recommend a good flash tutorial book?
    thanks,
    sam
