I'm wondering if it is possible to make text scroll smoothly along a curved path - individual letters, NOT the whole sentence.
Any ideas?
Thanks

yeah sure, use motion guides. there is a tutorial here on flashkit.
Make a letter a symbol, create a motion guide for that layer then treat it like a normal motion tween. repeat for more letters. If you curve is constant (like a circle) you can create the text on a curve in something like illustrator then import it. all you have to do is rotate it or do the aforementioned motion guide stuff.

Thanks for the reply.
I realise that you can do the motion by using individual letters, but that is a very time consuming process.
I can't believe there isn't an automated tool allowing u 2 do this.
Thanks

Sure you could make one movie of the motion you want with a text box as the variable on the motion path. Then just use duplicate movie for the other letters. You will need to parse the letters out of your variable. You should be able to find the various code needed in the fla's in the movie section to build the little engine. Regards, Bill
